Students going through the conduct process as a complainant, respondent, or witness may have the right to bring an adviser of their choice to any conduct meeting or hearing.
Students may choose any adviser that meets the criteria outlined in the Student Handbook. Individuals contacted by students looking for an adviser are under no obligation to serve as an adviser for any particular student who contacts them and may choose to decline for a variety of reasons. It is asked that students looking for an adviser respect an individual’s decision to accept or decline the adviser role in any given case.
